About the Instructor

K.L. Alexander, artist and retired art educator, is joining the Bremen Parks and Recreation Department team to teach after-school art classes. Known as "Miss Kiki" to her students and friends, she brings 30 plus years of professional art experience to share with the community.

Kiki has an MAed from Marygrove College and has been teaching and exhibiting her own art since 2000. Art was an important part of her childhood, being raised by two professional artist parents who valued visual arts, theater arts and music. Her own art pieces are in watercolor and mixed media. She has been published in several art education magazines, and was a presenter for eleven years at the Ohio Art Educators Association convention. She moved to Georgia last year from her birth state of Ohio and in her spare time, enjoys restoring vintage travel trailers (1979 and older) with her husband and holding vintage trailer rallies.
